A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection to the sexual assault of a child.
Windsor police received a report of child abuse on August 3.
Investigators learned the suspect allegedly sexually assault the child on multiple occassions between June 22, 2024 and August 2, 2025. The victim was six and seven years old at the time.
Windsor police arrested Matthew Robert Habuda, 36, in the Town of Essex on September 8. He was charged with sexual assault and sexual interference. The charges have not been proven in court.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims.
