Teen arrested following firearm investigation

Windsor police have arrested a 19-year-old man and seized a replica firearm following a weapons investigation.

According to police, officers were called shortly after 4 p.m. on April 21 for a report of a man with a gun.

The report came from a business close to a Pierre Avenue home. The victim had run there following an argument with the suspect at the address, police said.

Investigators determined that during that argument the victim believed she'd been threatened with a firearm.

Officers arrested the suspect at the home and, following a search, seized a replica BB handgun.

The teen faces charges of possession of a firearm while prohibited and uttering threats to cause bodily harm.
