The 15th annual Safe Kids Day will take place in Arthur at the end of the month.
This annual event brings Grade 4 students from around Minto, Mapleton, and Wellington North for a day full of hands-on safety learning, hosted by the fire departments in Wellington North, Mapleton and Minto.
Students will participate in a variety of hands-on learning stations focused on personal and community safety, led by local emergency services and community organizations.
The event will take place on Thursday, May 29 from 9:30 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. at the Arthur Arena. There will be a morning and afternoon session with a lunch break in the middle.
