A Sarnia police canine is being credited for helping city officers make an arrest on Thursday.
Officers were called to a business on Harbour Road just after 1:30 p.m., to investigate a report of an unauthorized entry into the building, with individuals still inside.
"Officers called out for the individuals to exit the building but received no response," a media release read. "K9 Shadow was deployed and located one male hiding on the roof of the building. A subsequent search of the building did not locate any other individuals."
Sarnia police said a 51 year old man was arrested and charged with break and enter and four counts of failing to comply with probation.
He was held for bail and is now before the courts.
