Windsor man facing assault charge in Chatham

Chatham-Kent (CK) police were called to a Chatham home for a reported assault.

Officers responded to Timmins Crescent just before 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

When police arrived, investigators determined that the victim had been assaulted by her partner following a verbal argument.

A 43-year-old Windsor man was arrested and charged with assault.

He has since been released from police custody with conditions and a future court date.

Argument leads to assault charge

A 37-year-old man is facing an assault charge after an argument got out of hand.

Chatham-Kent police were called to a home on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg shortly before 6 p.m.

According to police, officers learned that a verbal argument between two people resulted in a man hitting a woman in the face.

The suspect was arrested and taken to police headquarters. He's since been released with conditions and a September 17 court date.
