Damage is estimated at $650,000 in a weekend house fire in Brooke-Alvinston.
Brooke Fire Rescue responded to a fire just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday on Petrolia Line, between Sutorville Road and Little Ireland Road.
Fire Chief Steve Knight said when crews arrived on scene, flames could been seen coming from the second floor windows of the two-storey farmhouse.
He said the fire advanced into the attic space and was difficult to access due to fire damage.
No injuries were reported and Knight said the family was out of the home when firefighters arrived.
Watford and Petrolia fire departments also attended the scene.
The cause of the blaze is undetermined at this time.
