The outage covered Mitchell's Bay, Dover, and nearly all of Chatham and Wallaceburg.
Nearly all of the affected customers were in Chatham-Kent, with some living in Lambton County, north of Wallaceburg.
Initially, Hydro One expected power to be back around 6:30 p.m. The issue seemed to be resolved just before 5 p.m.
