The 67-year-old Chatham man went missing on Wednesday after not resurfacing.
Due to conditions in the channel, specialized equipment and resources were needed to find the man.
He was found deceased the next morning by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Underwater Search and Rescue Party.
No other information is being shared at this time.
