Two people from Chatham have been arrested and charged following a break-and-enter at the construction site of the new Children’s Treatment Centre in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent police alleged two unknown suspects stole approximately $10,000 worth of tools from the site on McNaughton Avenue West in Chatham between February 6 and February 9.
Police noted they recovered all but one of the tools on Friday after a residence on Sandys Street in Chatham was searched.
A 35-year-old Chatham man and a 42-year-old Chatham woman face break-and-enter charges and possession of stolen property.
