Environment Canada said light ice accumulation is expected on Friday morning.
Roads, walkways, and other surfaces will likely become icy and slippery.
Icy surfaces will likely form and may be difficult to detect, increasing the risk of injury from slips and falls.
The warning is in addition to the blowing snow advisory that was issued Thursday evening for the region.
