Entegrus has made donations to help two important groups in Chatham-Kent.
The utility has again donated $200,000 to support the new Chatham-Kent (CK) Children’s Treatment Centre and $10,000 to the Blenheim Youth Centre on behalf of shareholder Corix District Energy Holdings LP.
The treatment centre has received similar donations from Entegrus over the past few years.
Entegrus said it's proud to support the pair of organizations that have positively impacted the community and have supported residents throughout their service area for decades.
The Children's Treatment Centre is expected to be completed towards the end of 2026 and Entegrus noted this latest donation will help bring the new expanded facility closer to completion.
“Our organization has proudly supported the Children’s Treatment Centre for many years,” said Jim Hogan, President and CEO of Entegrus. “This donation reflects our continued belief in their mission, and we’re proud to support a facility that will serve our community for generations to come.”
Mike Genge, President and CEO of the CK Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation, said he appreciates the donation.
“We are deeply grateful to Entegrus for their longstanding partnership and generous support,” said Genge. “This $200,000 donation plays a vital role in helping us complete a space designed to meet the growing needs of the Centre.”

The Blenheim Youth Centre contribution will help the group continue to offer programs that build confidence, responsibility, and social connection for youth in the Blenheim area.
Jen Acampora, Executive Director of the Blenheim Youth Centre, said she's grateful for the generous support.
“This funding will directly support our mission to provide a safe and fun environment for the youth of Blenheim and surrounding areas that enriches their overall health and well-being.”
Entegrus and Corix noted they believe strong communities start with strong youth who can thrive, and they're proud to support the centre's ongoing work.
