Few details were released, but investigators say the 43-year-old went missing at around 4 p.m. from the area of Walker Road and Seminole Street.
There was concern for her well-being.
Police reported on social media soon before 8 p.m. Monday that she was found and is safe.
Investigators would like to thank the public for its help in resolving this matter.
Repairs are currently being done on a major water transmission line along Charing Cross Road, which supplies the Chatham Water Treatment Plant.
