Essex OPP are investigating a fatal crash in the Municipality of Lakeshore.
At 3:50 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, emergency crews responded to a collision on West River Road between County Road 42 and Parklane Drive.
The driver of the vehicle sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead on scene.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have been travelling in the area and witnessed the vehicle involved in the collision, or has any relevant information, such as dash camera footage, to contact the Essex County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
West Belle River Road between County Road 42 and Parklane Drive in Belle River was closed for several hours for the investigation but has since reopened.
