A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection to a historic sexual assault of a child.
The Windsor Police Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit started the investigation after a report was made on June 9, 2026.
Police say the investigation determined a child, who was known to the suspect, had been sexually assaulted on multiple occasions.
The suspect was arrested in East Windsor on Thursday and charged with 12 criminal offences, including sexual assault, sexual interference, and invitation to sexual touching.
