St. Clair College has named five alumni who will be honoured at this year's Alumni of Distinction Awards.
This is the 33rd year the college has honoured alumni who have made outstanding professional and community contributions.
This year's awards ceremony is scheduled for May 8 at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts. The doors to the Alumni Skyline Room will open at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
This year's honourees are:
* Artist and author of The Haunted Zoo, Jeff Denomme, a graduate of the Graphic Design program, representing the School of Media Arts and Design
*Chief Executive Officer at the John McGivney Children's Centre, Jennifer Jovanovski, a graduate of the Nursing program.
* Mark McGuire, the executive director of Give and Go Sports Education, a graduate of the Business Administration program representing the Zekelman School of Business and IT
* Executive Director of Community Living Windsor, Jenn Pestrin, a graduate of the Developmental Services Worker program representing the School of Community Studies
* Nick White, owner and Chief Operations Officer at Handy Bros. Home Comfort, a graduate of the HVAC program representing the School of Skilled Trades and Apprenticeships
This year's list of honourees brings the total of graduates recognized by the college since 1992 to 149.
