Five Sarnia Sting players are featured on NHL Central Scouting's preliminary watch list ahead of the 2027 National Hockey League Draft.
Forward and leading scorer Easton Walos has been rated as an "A" level prospect, meaning he has the chance to be a first round selection.
Walos, who has 10 goals and 22 points through 14 games, is one of 10 Ontario Hockey League players to get an "A" rating. He also led the club with 48 points as a rookie in 2025-26.
Brenner Lammens received a "B" rating, indicating he's a potential second or third round pick.
After finishing last season with 18 points in 59 games, Lammens has 10 points across 14 contests in his sophomore campaign.
Import forward Jonas Gulbrandsen, and defencemen Kaden Aucoin and Chase Sewell were each given "W" ratings, which means they're possible sixth or seventh round selections.
Corunna native Johnny McLaughlin, who plays for the Windsor Spitfires also got a "B" rating.
Sarnia-born Matthew Henderson and Dante D’Andrea, of the Kingston Frontenacs, were also rated "W" prospects.
