Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected to repeatedly move through areas including, Southern Grey County, Northern Grey County, Southern Bruce County, Southern Huron County and Northern Huron County.
The warning was also in effect for Sarnia-Lambton, but now the area has a Special Weather Statement.
The alert says affected areas could see up to 80 milimetres of localized rain.
Environment Canada notes that water pooling on roads is likely. People are reminded to avoid driving through flooded roads and to stay indoors when weather gets severe.
