March Break Magic offered through Bruce County Library

The Bruce County Public Library is inviting families to take part in a week of imaginative activities during this year’s Magical March Break programming.

The initiative is aimed at students in Grades 1 through 6 and will offer hands-on activities with a magical theme at all 17 library branches across Bruce County.

Each location will host a variety of engaging sessions focused on topics such as science, magical creatures, and simple magic tricks designed to encourage curiosity and creativity among participants.

The programs are free to attend, and the library will supply all of the materials needed so that children from across the community can easily take part.

As part of the special events lineup, magician The Amazing Andy will present a live magic show in two Bruce County communities on March 17.

The first performance will take place at 10 a.m. at the Tara Community Centre in Tara, followed by a second appearance at 2 p.m. during a St. Patrick’s themed drop-in event at the Mildmay Recreation Centre in Mildmay.

Magical March Break programming will run from March 16 to March 20 and promises a week filled with creativity, discovery and entertainment for young participants.

Residents can find complete details about the activities and registration requirements by visiting the library’s events calendar online and selecting their local branch.

The Bruce County Public Library system serves communities throughout the county through its 17 branches and a bookmobile, providing access to information, resources and programs while acting as a community gathering space and digital connection point.
