The outage on Monday night was focused on the North side of Chatham. At its peak, it affected 3,719 people.
In a Facebook post, Entegrus explained that the loss of power was due to a failed electrical connection on the distribution system.
Crews repaired the issue and service was restored around 8:30 p.m. Monday night.
