Crowfest, Threshing Festival among Ontario's top 100 events

A pair of Chatham-Kent events have been honoured by Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO).

Chatham Crowfest and the Thamesville Threshing Festival were named to the 2026 Top 100 Festivals and Events in Ontario.

The full list was released on Wednesday, February 25 during FEO's Annual Conference in Kitchener.

Submissions were submitted in the fall of 2025 and judged by an independent panel of judges.

The Thamesville Threshing Festival just celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2025, and the 2026 event is set for June 19 and 20 in Ferguson Park.

Chatham Crowfest just marked its fourth year in September and featured performers from around the world.

A media release from the FEO says festivals and events of all kinds from every corner of Ontario were represented in the submissions.
