CK police arrest break-and-enter suspect

Chatham-Kent (CK) police have arrested the person they believe was behind a recent break-and-enter in Chatham.

At around 10 a.m. on January 21, officers were called to a business on King Street West. When they arrived, they were told that someone had broken in and stolen several items before fleeing.

Police say they identified a 43-year-old man as the suspect using video surveillance. A warrant was issued for his arrest, with officers finding him on Tuesday in Chatham.

He faces a charge of breaking and entering to commit an indictable offence.

He's since been released from police custody with a future court date.
